Have you ever felt guilty about choosing to wear your pearls instead of your Miraculous Medal, your
favorite strung beads instead of your patron saint? I did, and apparently so did my sister. Rather than reduce our jewelry collection to a few pious medals on chains, I was determined to find a compromise.
As it turned out, the solution was thoroughly Catholic and in plain sight -- the Rosary centerpiece. Now you can wear your favorite devotional images and a striking necklace at the same time.
MATERIALS WE USE
Tired of same boring religious medals you see in every contemporary religious goods store? Tired of expensive custom jewelry made with acrylic beads and no-name mystery metals that fade and tarnish? So are we.
We scour the Internet looking for intriguing and out-of-the-ordinary religious medals, usually solid bronze or sterling silver recasts of antique pieces which have sadly fallen out of production. As a complement to these medals, we try to use tarnish-resistant chain and findings. Our favorite materials are Vintaj natural brass and stainless steel. The semi-precious gemstone beads we select are as natural as possible, seldom color-treated or altered in any significant way. We hope the end result is durable and versatile jewelry that can be worn and treasured for a lifetime or longer.
